MuSE presents Dance-It-Yourself Nutcracker, a reimagined, multicultural, audience participatory telling of the story of Clara and the Nutcracker through ballet with orchestra, with all new choreography! The audience gets to join the fun on the dance floor at times and be taught dances from Spain, Arabia, Japan, Russia and England (newly discovered English dance). Costumes are not required for entrance but are encouraged. Total estimated run time is 90 minutes with intermission. Please come and join the celebration and learn dances from the countries represented in the Land of Sweets! This show is appropriate for all but best enjoyed by those ages 6 and up.

Featuring Lia-Shea Tillett as Clara, as Kyle Marra as The Nutcracker Prince, and Gwynned Vetter-Drusch as The Sugar Plum Fairy. Also starring Ashley Carter, Hiroko Uchino, Kelly Vaghenas,  Vanessa Martínez, Tsubasa Ogawa, Mikki Shoji, Madeline McBroom, and Maria Byers.

All new choreography by Theresa Burns (Director of Dance, Choreographer) and Maria Byers (Assistant Choreographer).
